North Fork Rancheria provides TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families), but also hosts many community events in Fresno, North Fork and Mariposa.

Popular Classes & Events
Some local classes have become popular places to meet other families with small children!
For example, Gymnastics by Dianne in Oakhurst has a wonderful Mommy and Me Tumble Tots program every Wednesday 10-11AM ($10/child — ages crawling through preschool).
Doula Collectives & Birth Centers
Local birth collectives host many supportive events and family friendly gatherings.

Mariposa Farmers Market accepts EBT/SNAP market-wide! Markets are held from 4:30-6:30PM on Wednesday nights (May 7th through October 29th). 5029 Stroming Road, Mariposa.
Kern Family Farm offers a number of community programs and services, including their store The Gnarly Carrot in North Fork.
