Madera County

• Rooted in Season Market – Coarsegold, CA
  • As a CSA (community supported agriculture), Rooted allows you to enjoy various homemade goods and support multiple local farms all in one place. 🥕
  • They offer weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly farm box memberships. Prices range between $10 and $40 per box depending on your preferences and delivery is available to nearby locations.
  • Rooted also hosts classes and events for members!
• Kern Family Farm in North Fork, CA, offers a number of community programs and services — including their local store The Gnarly Carrot.
• The Farm at Worman Mill – Awahnee, CA
  • A number of fresh goods are grown here. Their starts and produce can be found at local farmers markets, at Rooted in Coarsegold, and more. You can also visit their farm stand located at 5186 Worman Road, open 8AM to dusk.
  • Farm Box and fresh flower subscriptions are also available for a period of 6 to 18 weeks.
• Arboretum Springs Farm – Madera, CA
  • Fruit, veggies, nuts, grains, coffee, tea and more… Subscription boxes are available as well as individual orders.
• Oakhurst Farmers Market – Oakhurst, CA
  • Located at Ace Hardware, this local farmers market takes place every Thursday 4-7PM, June through September.
• Oakhurst Fruit Stand – A popular stop for locals and tourists alike in Oakhurst, CA 🍑

Fresno County

• Basilwood Farm – Prather, CA
  • Hosts workshops, field trips and Saturday popups! Come visit their store Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 10-3 and get to know some friendly goats and chickens. 🐓
• Fielding Family Farm in Prather, CA, specializes in poultry and eggs — and offers so much more, including family friendly events.
• Mountain Brook Ranch in Clovis, CA, has “pick your own” events throughout the year during various seasons. Call ahead or check Facebook/Instagram for updates.
• Sunshine’s Farm – Fresno, CA
  • This is a “you pick” strawberry farm, as well as a farm stand for various other homegrown fruits and veggies. CSA boxes are also available for purchase. 🍉
• The Orchard at Meadow Lakes – Auberry, CA
  • Visit their 40 acre apple orchard during any season. They hold “pick your own” events, seasonal festivals and more. The Country Store is open 9AM-3PM Friday through Sunday through Summer and into November.
• Vesolaya Gardens – Fresno, CA
  • Offering homegrown veggies at farmers markets and in CSA boxes, this is a no till, no spray organic farm. 🥬
• Fine Family Flower Farm – Tollhouse, CA

Mariposa County

• Mariposa Farmers Market accepts EBT/SNAP market-wide! Markets are held from 4:30-6:30PM on Wednesday nights (May 7th through October 29th).
  • 5029 Stroming Road, Mariposa. Go down 6th street to the bottom of the hill!
• Sierra Cider – Mariposa, CA
  • Hosts fun events for families from time to time! Mom and Dad can enjoy a sip of cider while they browse local vendors and the kiddos meet cute animals.
• Happy Goat in Mariposa offers incredible experiences, including a unique date night at their restaurant or enriching volunteer opportunities on the farm! 🐐
